Year 12 students from Thomastown Secondary College have always found successful post-school destinations.
At least 80 % of our students go on to further study at University or TAFE, 10 % take up Traineeships or Apprenticeships while 10 % find full time employment.
Our Graduates study Engineering, Science, Aviation, Psychology and Nursing as well as Law, Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies, Education and Youth Work. Others have taken up courses in Architecture, Building Design and Construction Management or vocational Diplomas and apprenticeships in Electrotechnology, Building & Construction, Information Technology, Animation, Media & Game Design, Laboratory Technician and Hair & Beauty.
Our students receive excellent Pathways advice from Year 9 onwards and intensive advice and support through their Senior years. This support is reflected in our outstanding Destinations outcomes.
