In 2016 Thomastown Secondary College was invited to join AL Siraat College and St Monica’s College through their student leadership program Interfaith. This program aims to build tolerance, respect and understanding by bringing together young people from different cultures, religions and beliefs. This is done through the exploration of thoughts and attitudes towards current events and social challenges.

Thomastown has long recognised the importance of pride in one’s identity and respect for that of others. With students from more than 30 different countries speaking more than 50 different languages it is important that cultural, religious, and other beliefs are valued.

Identifying Individual Excellence as a core College value promotes a culture, which acknowledges, respects and celebrates excellence across a wide range of skills and attributes.
